A Friendship 25 Years in the Making

Grade Five (I’m Canadian, that’s how we say it) and friendships were forged at Sheridan Public School between four girls.

We went to our next school together, Falgarwood, where we met the 5th and then high school where I was the one who moved schools for the final two years, but never lost touch with the group.

We all went to different Universities, but again, we kept in touch.

Three are married, one is pending.  One moved south of the border, one moved overseas, and the rest have travelled all over the world. But we all came back to where it began, our home town. Now one is leaving to move across the country and we thank the technology industry for texting, Skype and of course email so the distance will feel less.

I wish everyone could have a lifelong friendship like this one. We may not see each other as often as we’d like, we’re a busy group of gals after all, but believe me, when we get together we make the most of it.

Happy 25th to us!
