Gillie Beans Fun Day May 28th in Whitby

A colleague sent me an email about this event coming this Saturday, May 28th in Whitby for the Gillie Beans FUNd in memory of Gillian Berthelot.

Cancer is an awful disease and takes far too many far too early. I know, I’ve lost several loved ones to various forms over the years.

This is especially hard when it’s a child who gets it and even harder when it’s a rarer form.

Having gone to Sick Kids most of my young life for my eye, I know how amazing the people and doctors are there.

So, if you’re in the Whitby area on Saturday check out the event for Gillie Beans and Rhabdomyasarcoma research through the Sick Kids Foundation. There will be lots of entertainment for the kids including:

  • Fire Trucks
  • Carnival games
  • Airbrush Tatoos
  • Face painting
  • A&W BBQ lunch
  • Entertainers Terri and Rick and so much more!

More information can be found at the website: www.GillieBeansFund.com

The event takes place from 11-2 at John Dryden Public School, 40 Rolling Acres Drive in Whitby, Ontario.
